Zip Lining in Belize
One of the most beautiful areas in Belize is the Mayflower Bocawina Park. Located in southern Belize, this national park has more than 11 square miles of pristine jungle, unexcavated Maya ruins, and beautiful rivers and waterfalls.

Measuring more than 2.5 miles (four kilometers) long, this incredible zip line has eight different runs spread out across 12 different platforms in the park and is the longest zip line in the country. The longest single run on this zip line is an incredible 2,300 feet (700 meters) long.
For most people, enjoying the zip line is more than enough excitement. But for true adventure junkies, you can also try this zip line at night, giving participants a chance to see some of the 80% of the jungle's inhabitants that are only active at nighttime.
After a fun day of zipping through the rainforest canopy, the best way to relax and unwind is by visiting one of the several waterfalls in the park. Bocawina Falls, for which the park is named, is a great place for beginning climbers to practice their skills. You can rappel down the side, a distance of around 100 feet (30 meters), followed by a refreshing swim in the cool waters below.
If that's not enough excitement for you, you can also visit Antelope Falls. First, you'll have to hike to the top in order to see the view from atop this majestic 1,000-foot (305-meter) tall waterfall. From there, you can choose to rappel down the side. Experienced climbers can do Antelope Falls in one go, but there's also the option to stop halfway down in order to catch your breath and admire the view.
